Position: Emergency Fire Dispatcher
Location: Anderson Fire Protection Commission
Description: Under supervision of the Communication Supervisor provides
emergency fire dispatch for the commission’s 27volunteer fire districts.
Dispatcher is responsible for call taking and data entry. This position is 12 hour
shift alternating schedule. Other job duties may be assigned by the Fire Chief as
needed.
Qualifications: Desired candidate will possess emergency communications
experience. Familiarization with CAD system and radio equipment is a plus.
Candidate must be proficient with computers and data entry. Organizational skills
and multitasking required to be successful at this position. Must have a South
Carolina driver’s license.
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
